Defining the BRIDGE program

BRIDGE is a CWS Capital Partners LLC program designed to encourage individuals to provide community service and volunteer work, as well as, provide a company sponsored pool of money for various community needs.

You may volunteer at any type of institution or agency, or provide community service of any type except activities directly related to a political party or office. For example, you may support an environmental group with your time but not work on a particular referendum or ballot initiative, or you may support the school district with your time but not a particular school candidate's election race. CWS will contribute to any activity which aligns with our company's values. If you are not clear about whether or not your interest would be included, please contact the program sponsors.

Contributions

BRIDGE contributes $20 for each hour of community service you complete up to maximum of 12 hours($240) per fiscal year (October 1 to September 30).

You decide where half of your annual contributions goes (up to $120) at any time during the fiscal year. The remaining half of your contribution will be allocated based on blind request submitted by the volunteers.

Of course, you may continue to provide services after your 12 hours are completed. We strongly encourage your involvement and want to know about your cause.

BRIDGE Form

In order to receive your $20 per hour contribution, you must complete the BRIDGE form after you have contributed your time. The area coordinators will collect all BRIDGE forms and tabulate the number of hours and dollar contribution required.

Please complete the BRIDGE form even if your company contribution limit has been met.

The BRIDGE forms are sent to the program sponsors who review them to (1) publicize the program and individual's activities and (2) determine who is the top contributor each quarter. The top contributor for each quarter will receive a certificate and will have their name and city inscribed on a plaque recognizing their contributions at the California, Austin and Dallas offices. In addition, these individuals will be recognized in the website.

Once per year, at fiscal year end, the overall top time contributors, as well as, several participants drawn from all volunteers, will receive a trip to the California office to have lunch/dinner with Steve Sherwood and a day off with pay to have fun in southern California.
