The Company
CWS Capital Partners LLC has evolved from a company that was founded in 1969. Its key principals and advisors, CEO - Steve Sherwood, Bill Williams, and President - Gary Carmell, have a combined 75 years with the firm. If we had to put a title on ourselves, it would be "a fully-integrated real estate investment management company."


Essentially, what we do is this:

We search throughout America for real estate investment opportunities. When we find them, we negotiate the purchase and sale of the properties. We access both debt and equity capital to finance both the purchase and development of those properties. And finally, we manage them.

Throughout each project, we correspond regularly with our investment partners and coordinate all the necessary financial reporting and tax return generation.

Importantly, the CWS principals believe in these projects strongly enough to personally invest in every single one.


The Objectives
Our goal is to identify opportunities that offer our investors a competitive after-tax return with minimal risk of principal depreciation.

We specialize in real estate investment because we believe it has several unique advantages.

It allows portfolio diversification while providing cash flow that can be substantially sheltered from current taxation.

And, through the use of a 1031 tax-deferred exchange, a property can be sold and our investors can potentially defer up to 100% of the taxes associated with capital appreciation or any previous tax benefits generated during the holding period. This allows our investors to have up to 100% of their equity working for them at all times.

This is not the case with other types of investments, such as stocks and mutual funds.
